Chengdu police report that a man who filmed a video on the subway causing panic and injuries to passengers has been detained.

On May 9th, the Chengdu Public Security Bureau Rail Transit Division reported on the incident of "weird behavior on the subway causing panic and injuries to passengers." The report stated that at around 2 p.m. on May 8th, a man named Li intentionally shouted and made strange sounds, twisted his body in a weird and exaggerated manner while filming a video inside a carriage of Chengdu Metro Line 2 in order to attract internet traffic. This behavior caused panic among passengers, resulting in 3 passengers being injured and a delay in train operation. Currently, Li has been administratively detained by the public security authorities for disrupting order on public transport.
