U.S. nuclear energy stocks and uranium mining stocks rise, boosted by news of the Trump administration accelerating nuclear power plant construction.

According to reports, the Trump administration is considering issuing several executive orders to expedite the construction of power plants. After the news came out, U.S. nuclear energy stocks and uranium mining stocks rose to intraday highs. Oklo rose 4.6%; NuScale Power Company rose 2.7%, and energy services company Centrus Energy rose 5.8%. Among uranium mining companies, Cameco Corporation rose 2.6% and NexGen Energy rose 3%.
