Hebei welcomes heavy rainfall on a large scale. Shuangqiao Lion Gou Station in Chengde has reached the level of heavy rainfall.

According to the Hebei Provincial Meteorological Observatory, from 8:00 on May 8th to 8:00 on the 9th, most parts of Hebei experienced rainy weather. According to monitoring data from national and regional stations, the northern and western regions received moderate to heavy rainfall. Some areas such as Chengde, Zhangjiakou, Xingtai, Baoding, and Handan even reached the level of heavy rainfall, with Chengde Shuangqiao Lion Gou station recording a total of 144.9mm of rainfall, including a maximum hourly rainfall of 73.4mm at 18:00 on the 8th. In addition, some areas in Chengde also experienced hailstorms.
