The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning for heavy rain at 06:00 on May 9th.

It is expected that from 08:00 on May 9th to 08:00 on May 10th, there will be heavy to torrential rain in some areas of eastern and southern Guangxi, most parts of Guangdong, northwestern and southeastern Fujian, northeastern Hainan Island, southeastern Zhejiang, and eastern parts of North China. In particular, there will be local heavy rainfall in eastern Guangxi and western Guangdong. The above-mentioned areas will experience short-term heavy rainfall, with local thunderstorms, strong winds, or hail and other severe convective weather.
