CAAM: Automobile whole vehicle exports in March increased by 15.9% year-on-year, while imports decreased by 27% year-on-year.

According to the financial and economics app Caijing, on May 8th, the General Administration of Customs data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that in March 2025, China's automobile exports reached 568,000 units, an increase of 35% month-on-month and 15.9% year-on-year. The export value was $9.59 billion, a month-on-month increase of 36.5% and a year-on-year increase of 1.7%. From January to March 2025, China's automobile exports reached 1.538 million units, a year-on-year increase of 16.4%; the export value was $25.737 billion, a year-on-year increase of 2.2%.
