Chongqing Beer: From 2015 to 2024, carbon emissions will be reduced by 76.7% per hundred liters.
On May 8th, Chongqing Beer held a performance briefing for the fiscal year 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. The company's president and director, Li Zhigang, announced that in 2024, the international rating agency MSCI upgraded Chongqing Beer's ESG rating to AA, making it the top food and beverage company in China's A-share market. From 2015 to 2024, the company reduced carbon emissions per hundred liters by 76.7%; the electrification rate of forklifts increased to 82% in 2024. The Foshan brewery is equipped with solar power, biogas boilers, air conditioning energy storage, etc., achieving full green brewing. In 2024, Chongqing Beer's average water consumption was 2.1hl/hl, a 45.7% decrease from 2015.
