Guotai Haitong intends to issue no more than 2 billion yuan in science and technology innovation bonds.

The Shanghai Stock Exchange website announced on May 8th that Guotai Haitong plans to publicly issue technology innovation corporate bonds to professional investors. This bond issuance consists of two types: a 3-year fixed-rate bond and a 10-year fixed-rate bond. The total issuance size of this bond will not exceed 2 billion RMB. Guotai Haitong stated that 70% of the funds raised from this bond issuance will be used to support technology innovation in areas such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, new energy, through equity, bond, and fund investments, including but not limited to venture capital funds or government-sponsored industry funds specializing in technology innovation, as well as technology innovation corporate bonds.
