PIMCO: U.S. recession risk at highest level in years.

Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), a giant in the bond market, stated that the risk of a U.S. economic recession is at its highest level in years, as investors have misjudged President Trump's determination to implement high tariffs. PIMCO's Chief Investment Officer Dan Ivascyn said in an interview with the company's CEO Emmanuel Roman on Thursday, "We are likely to fall into a recession, with the likelihood being the highest in years."
