China Taiping Insurance landed the country's first water right pledge loan insurance.

Journalists learned that recently, China Taiping Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd.'s Shanghai branch, in collaboration with Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank, designed a "water rights + pledge + insurance" green financial comprehensive service plan for Shanghai Pengbo Titanium Dioxide Co., Ltd. located in Jinshan District, Shanghai. They successfully implemented the country's first water rights pledge loan guarantee insurance business. It is understood that water rights pledge financing refers to a financing model where a water-taking enterprise uses its legally acquired water rights as collateral for a pledge loan application. Shanghai Pengbo Titanium Dioxide Co., Ltd. was approved for this water rights pledge loan, which will not only effectively alleviate the company's financial pressure, but also prioritize the use of water rights pledge loans for the implementation of water-saving projects, water-saving technology applications, carbon reduction, and environmental protection in the green industry sector.
