Cao Guowei and Wang Changtian donated 100 million to Fudan University.

Fudan University announced that, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of its founding, it has established a new fund for the development of liberal arts disciplines to support innovation in the humanities and social sciences. The initial fundraising for the fund is 100 million yuan, donated jointly by two alumni from the Journalism Department of the Class of 1984, Cao Guowei and Wang Changtian. The fund will be managed openly, gathering more social resources to provide momentum for the development of new liberal arts at Fudan University.
