In the first quarter, cultural and creative enterprises in Beijing achieved operating income of 4177.6 billion yuan.

The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics released data showing that in the first quarter, the total income of cultural and related industries' corporate units above a certain scale in the city reached 594.68 billion yuan, an increase of 12.5% year-on-year. Among them, cultural enterprises above a certain scale achieved operating income of 585.14 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%; and total profits of 75.42 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 33.7%.
