May Day holiday, Macau's daily average tourist volume exceeds the level of 2019, with a hotel occupancy rate of 94.1%.

Data released by the Macao Special Administrative Region Government Tourism Bureau on the 6th showed that during the May Day holiday, there was a strong flow of tourists in various parts of Macao, with approximately 850,000 visitors to Macao, an increase of 40.7% compared to the same period last year. The average daily number of tourists reached 170,000, exceeding the daily average of 158,000 tourists in 2019. In addition, the average hotel occupancy rate in Macao reached 94.1%, an increase of 5% year-on-year, with the highest occupancy rate on May 2 reaching 98.1%. In terms of the source of tourists, there were 679,000 visitors from mainland China, 111,000 visitors from Hong Kong, 9,100 visitors from Taiwan, and 51,000 international visitors.
