According to a report from the Yemeni Houthi-controlled Masirah TV station on the 5th, the United States and Israel carried out at least 48 airstrikes on the province of Hodeidah in Yemen that day. The report stated that the targets of the airstrikes were the airport and a cement factory in the provincial capital of Hodeidah city, as well as some military bases. Local residents said that almost all facilities in Hodeidah port were destroyed or damaged. Several private factories were also destroyed in the airstrikes. Israeli public broadcasting company quoted a senior security official on the 5th as saying that Israeli and American warplanes carried out joint airstrikes in Yemen that day, dropping 50 bombs and destroying the port and concrete production plant in Hodeidah, Yemen.
