Gurman claims that the foldable screen iPhone that Apple will release next year has two major advantages: invisible creases and high-quality hinges.
According to several journalists and analysts who follow Apple, the company is planning to launch its first foldable iPhone next year. Mark Gurman stated today that Apple's foldable iPhone will have two significant advantages, making it stand out in the foldable phone market. First, when unfolded, the folding crease will be "almost invisible." This means that its rumored 7.8 to 8-inch inner screen will have a more seamless design, providing users with an uninterrupted visual experience. Gurman pointed out, "Apple hopes to stand out in the competition by reducing the crease when the phone is unfolded." Secondly, the foldable iPhone will come with "higher quality hinges," which will be a significant advantage compared to some other foldable screen phones. Although Gurman did not provide detailed information on this, Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that the hinge will be made of a mix of titanium and stainless steel materials.
