China Railway: The total number of passengers transported during the May Day holiday exceeded 100 million.

According to the Securities Times APP, on May 5th, the official Chinese Railway public account announced that on May 4th, a total of 19.786 million passengers traveled on national railways. From the start of the May 1st holiday transportation on April 29th to May 4th, the national railways have carried a total of 112 million passengers, an increase of 10.5% compared to the previous year, with transportation safety being smooth and orderly. On May 5th, the return passenger flow on the railways continued to rise, and it is expected that a total of 21.1 million passengers will be transported nationwide, with plans to add 1,896 additional passenger trains.
