According to messages posted by many NIO car owners on social media, since May 2nd, many car owners have encountered issues such as the NIO car App disconnecting from the network, and being unable to use the App for controlling the car. Screenshots of the App uploaded by netizens show that some of the home page "Discover" sections display "No data, click to retry", some show "network is not good, please check and retry", and some are unable to log in, displaying the error message "HTTP 502 Bad Gateway". In addition, some car owners have reflected that although they can open the App, the car's location cannot be updated, or they cannot view charging notifications and range information. As of now, the official NIO car has not officially responded to the issue. However, some car owners claim that they saw a notice in a WeChat group yesterday, stating that the NIO car App backend is undergoing maintenance, and the worry-free interface function cannot be used temporarily. The recovery time will be notified separately, and car owners are reminded to bring their mechanical keys.
