According to statistics from the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Port Department, as of May 3, the Liantang Immigration Inspection Station has examined 10.045 million people entering and exiting the country this year, an increase of 26% compared to the same period last year, with 411,000 vehicles entering and exiting, an increase of 18%. The number of people entering and exiting the country has surpassed ten million a month ahead of 2024, with a peak daily flow of 112,000 people.
