China Meteorological Administration continued to issue a blue warning for sandstorms at 06:00 on May 4th.

Affected by cold air and strong winds, it is expected that from 08:00 on May 4th to 08:00 on May 5th, there will be sand or dust weather in some areas of the southern Jungar Basin and eastern Xinjiang, northern and eastern Qinghai, western Inner Mongolia, most parts of Gansu, Ningxia, and northern Shaanxi. Among them, some areas in the northwestern Inner Mongolia, southern Xinjiang, western Gansu, and northern Ningxia may experience sandstorms, and some areas in the northwestern Inner Mongolia may even experience severe sandstorms.
