The number of participants in our country's basic pension insurance has exceeded 1.07 billion.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, as of the end of March, the number of people covered by basic endowment insurance, unemployment insurance, and work-related injury insurance nationwide were 1.071 billion, 244 million, and 297 million, respectively, representing an increase of 4.42 million, 2.56 million, and 2.71 million compared to the previous year. As a new form of employment injury protection under the "new type of work-related injury insurance," the occupational injury protection for platform workers such as food delivery riders and ride-hailing drivers has been steadily implemented in pilot areas. By the end of March, the number of platform workers participating in occupational injury insurance had exceeded 11.04 million.
