Strong wind and sandstorm strike again, Gansu meteorological department initiates level emergency response.

In response to the new round of strong winds and sandstorms, the Gansu Provincial Meteorological Bureau initiated a level IV emergency response on the afternoon of May 3, requiring the emergency office, emergency and disaster reduction office, observation and network office, technology and forecast office, Lanzhou Central Meteorological Observatory, Lanzhou Regional Climate Center, Meteorological Information and Technology Equipment Support Center, and Meteorological Service Center to immediately enter into a level IV emergency response state for major meteorological support. Meteorological bureaus in various cities in the province will assess the situation and initiate corresponding emergency responses, focusing on impact forecasting and risk warning.
