According to The Information, Apple plans to adjust the release schedule of its iPhone next year to cope with the increasingly large product lineup. The report says that Apple's first foldable screen iPhone is expected to be released in the fall of 2026, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series and the "Air" series models. At the same time, the standard version of the iPhone 18 will be delayed until the spring of 2027, to be released alongside the successor models of the iPhone 16e. Apple's current product lineup has expanded to six iPhone models, and with the addition of foldable screen models, the company needs to re-plan the product release schedule to ensure more efficient management and market promotion of the product line. The report indicates that Apple's first foldable screen iPhone will adopt a folding form similar to a book, rather than a flip design. The screen size of this model in the folded state will be 5.7 inches, while the size will be close to 8 inches when unfolded.
