On the 3rd day, it was learned from the Ministry of Water Resources of China that, in order to cope with the drought, the Water Resources Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has utilized the functions of large and medium-sized irrigation districts and reservoir water projects to scientifically adjust water supply. By April 30th, a total of 58.47 billion cubic meters of water had been supplied to the drought-affected areas, ensuring irrigation for an area of 13.753 million mu, and preliminarily achieving no major disasters in a year of severe drought, minimizing disaster losses to the greatest extent.
