On May 1st, the compact fusion energy experiment device project in Hefei was assembled two months ahead of schedule, and the main fusion reactor key system integration research facility park was officially launched. The BEST device, based on the first-generation Chinese artificial sun EAST device, will demonstrate fusion energy for the first time and lead research in plasma physics for fusion energy development in China, making forward-looking and pioneering contributions.
