Shanghai: "May Fifth Shopping Festival" launches activities in Putuo District, providing individual car purchase subsidies of 50 million yuan.

Last night, the launch ceremony of the Car Quality Consumption Carnival and Five Senses Lifestyle Festival was held at Huan Yu City MAX, officially kicking off the "Five Five Shopping Festival" in Putuo District this year. At the launch ceremony, Putuo District announced a subsidy plan to promote car consumption. Putuo District has allocated 50 million RMB to provide subsidies to individual consumers for car purchases, covering both fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles, with a tiered subsidy standard. For car purchases within Putuo District, subsidies of 3,000 RMB will be provided for cars priced below 500,000 RMB; 5,000 RMB for cars priced between 500,000 RMB and 1 million RMB; and 10,000 RMB for cars priced over 1 million RMB. According to the implementation rules of the event, purchase invoices for cars must be from May 1st to December 31st, the purchased new cars must meet the National VI B emission standards and must not be commercial vehicles, subsidies will be given on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
