Kicked out by Tesla? Musk faces "double layoff"
On April 30th local time, the Wall Street Journal quoted sources as saying that the board of directors of American car manufacturer Tesla has begun seriously considering finding a successor to CEO Elon Musk due to the company's declining stock price and some investors' dissatisfaction with Musk's focus on the White House. Sources revealed that board members have contacted several headhunting companies in an attempt to find the next CEO of Tesla. In addition, there have been recent changes in Musk's position at the US Department of Efficiency. On April 29th, the New York Post quoted White House Chief of Staff Susan Wells as saying that Musk is no longer working in the physical office of the White House. The New York Post reported that Musk is preparing to resign from his official position at the Department of Efficiency.
