The first joint approval project for land and forest use in Sichuan Province was approved, and the approval time was shortened by 60%.

According to the Sichuan Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the temporary land and forest land for the first batch of construction projects of the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou high-speed railway in 2025 has been approved. The province has taken the lead in achieving "one-time application, two certificates issued together", with approval for temporary use of 47.75 mu of arable land and 26.68 mu of forest land. The approval process from application to approval took only 7 days, with a reduction of more than 40% in materials and a 60% reduction in approval time. The relevant person in charge of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Natural Resources stated that the provincial-level natural resources and forestry departments are accelerating coordination and collaboration. This year, they will comprehensively promote the coordinated handling of land, forest, and grassland approval matters, further optimizing processes and improving efficiency.
