The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing and the National Bureau of Statistics Service Industry Survey Center released the China Purchasing Managers' Index for April today. Due to factors such as the sharp changes in the external environment, the manufacturing purchasing managers' index in April fell compared to the previous month. However, industries such as high-tech manufacturing continued to expand, and manufacturing enterprises mainly focused on domestic sales maintained overall stability in production and operation. The Chinese manufacturing purchasing managers' index for April was 49%, a decrease of 1.5 percentage points from the previous month.
