The compensation of many securities executives has dropped.

Journalists have learned from multiple securities industry insiders, including securities executives, that the limit on salaries for state-owned securities firms has been set at 3 million yuan, with other employee salaries being set according to their job grades. Before this round of regulatory guidance on reducing salaries in the securities industry, the salaries of securities executives were often over 5 million yuan or even over 10 million yuan. In fact, looking at the executive salaries disclosed in the 2024 annual reports of securities firms, most of them have already been reduced to under 3 million yuan. According to a comparison of annual reports from securities firms and Wind data, it was found that among the domestic securities firms that had already disclosed their annual reports as of April 27th, only three companies, Eastern Wealth, Huaxin Shares, and First Venture, had chairmen or general manager salaries exceeding 3 million yuan.
