Job vacancies in the United States have dropped to a nearly four-year low, indicating a weakening of demand in the labor market.
According to the Zhitong Finance and Economics app, data released by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics on Tuesday showed that the number of job vacancies in the United States dropped to 7.19 million in March, the lowest level since September last year, significantly lower than the revised 7.48 million in February and lower than the expectations of all economists surveyed by foreign media. This number is close to the level at the beginning of the outbreak of the new crown epidemic in 2020, reflecting a significant cooling of corporate recruitment intentions against the backdrop of increasing economic uncertainty.
