Tesla has added more than 1000 workers for making semi-trucks.

According to three informed sources, Tesla is significantly accelerating its production plans for its semi-trailer trucks. In order to fulfill its production commitments for its electric large trucks over the years, the company has hired more than 1000 new workers in Nevada. Over the past few months, the company has brought the new workers to the GigaSparks factory for training and tours. Two informed sources said that until recently, the company had less than 100 factory workers responsible for truck production, including the pilot line in California.
