According to the Wisdom Finance APP, on April 29, the Pickup Truck Sub-association released a market analysis for March 2025. In March 2025, the sales of pickup trucks reached 58,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 13% and a month-on-month increase of 33%, reaching a high level in the past five years. From January to March 2025, the sales of pickup trucks totaled 137,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 7%. The overall pickup truck market has remained relatively stable, with domestic demand weakening. Compared to the market performance of light trucks and other vehicles over the past two years, pickup trucks have performed relatively well. In terms of exports, in 2024, pickup truck exports accounted for 45% of total sales, while in March 2025, exports accounted for 42% of total sales. From January to March 2025, cumulative exports accounted for 45% of total sales, indicating a good increase in exports of Chinese-made pickup trucks. Pickup trucks, as internationally competitive vehicles, have become the strongest category in China's commercial vehicle exports.
