According to CCTV News, Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted said on the local time of the 29th that despite the strong performance in the first quarter of the year, the uncertainty caused by the US tariff policies is directly impacting the company's decision-making. He admitted: "In a 'normal world', we could have raised our full year revenue and operating profit expectations. However, the current uncertainty of US tariffs prevents us from making that decision." Rorsted pointed out that the company is currently unable to produce in the United States and most of its products are manufactured in Asian countries, so the expected additional tariffs will raise the cost of all Adidas products in the US market. He said, "Considering the uncertainty of negotiations between the US and several export countries, we still cannot predict which tariff policies will ultimately be implemented. This makes it difficult for the company to set pricing strategies and evaluate consumer reactions." Rorsted revealed that the company is preparing for moderate price increases in the US market to address potential cost pressures. Market analysts generally believe that the direction of US trade policy remains uncertain, and related risks have become important external variables facing global manufacturing companies.
