Cathay Pacific Airlines launches direct flight route from Urumqi to Hong Kong

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited opened a direct flight from Urumqi to Hong Kong on the 28th, strengthening the air connection between the two regions to provide more convenient services for business and trade exchanges. It is reported that Cathay Pacific operates four flights per week between Urumqi and Hong Kong. With the relaxation of the transit visa-free policy and other favorable policies, the new route will attract more international travelers to use Hong Kong as a gateway to explore Xinjiang's tourism resources and help upgrade the tourism industry in the western region.
