In the first quarter of this year, private equity funds with billions of assets intensively moved to pick up chips. Data from Privateranking.com shows that as of April 27, more than 20 private equity funds with billions of assets had their products listed among the top ten circulating shareholders of A-share listed companies at the end of the first quarter, with a total market value of over 30 billion yuan. In terms of industry distribution, the electronic industry has become the focus of billion-dollar private equity funds, occupying 18 seats in the 96 heavily invested stocks. The basic chemical industry followed closely behind, with a total of 12 stocks being held by billion-dollar private equity funds, while the pharmaceutical and biotech sector had 10 stocks with billion-dollar private equity presence.
