Cui Dongshu: From January to March, China exported 123,000 vehicles to Russia, a year-on-year decrease of 39%.

According to the Securities Times APP, on April 28, Cui Dongshu released a tracking report on the Russian automotive market for March 2025. The total sales of cars in Russia in 2024 reached 1.83 million units, an increase of 91% year-on-year. In March 2025, the sales level reached 92,000 units, a decrease of 46% year-on-year and an increase of 2% month-on-month compared to February. In the first quarter of 2025, the cumulative sales of cars in the Russian market reached 283,000 units, a decrease of 28% year-on-year. From January to March 2025, China exported 123,000 vehicles to Russia, a 39% decrease. The sales of domestic brands in Russia reached 157,000 units, surpassing the volume of Chinese exports by 128%, finally achieving a slight destocking trend.
