DHL announced the resumption of over $800 shipping to individuals in the United States.
On April 28, global courier company DHL announced that it will resume offering global freight services to US consumers for goods with declared customs value exceeding $800. In a statement, DHL stated that this decision was made after "constructive dialogue" with the US government. DHL stated that as of April 28, 2025, the value threshold for shipments to the US has been adjusted, and goods valued between $800 and $2500 can once again be cleared through expedited informal entry procedures. This adjustment allows them to resume normal operations. Previously, changes in US customs regulations had caused goods with declared value exceeding $800 to face several days of shipping delays, prompting DHL to suspend the service on April 21.
