Journalists learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that by 2025, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Water Resources will support the construction of small-scale water diversion projects in 60 counties of 29 provinces and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps through the Central Water Development Fund. This will stimulate local financial and social capital investment, accurately solve problems such as the instability of water sources for rural water supply and insufficient water supply and distribution capacity of pipeline networks, and significantly improve the level of water supply for rural areas at the county level.
