The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection publicly reports on typical cases of formalism at the grassroots level, singling out Sanhe City in Hebei Province for blindly making decisions and mechanically implementing them.
Recently, the Office for the Special Work Mechanism for Reducing Burden at the Grassroots Level, together with the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection Office, reported on three typical cases of formalism in reducing burden at the grassroots level. Specifically: 1. Sanhe City, Langfang City, Hebei Province made blind decisions and mechanically implemented them in urban management, damaging the interests of the masses and increasing the burden on grassroots. 2. The Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region engaged in "face projects" in government services. 3. Some places in Shandong Province blindly compared data in centralized project start-ups and contracts.
