The tariff policy of the United States Trump administration is becoming a headwind for the high-tech industry. If the increase in tax rates is partially passed on to prices, the demand for a variety of products such as smartphones, personal computers, and servers will decrease. Research firm IDC predicts that the global IT spending growth rate in 2025 will decrease from a year-on-year growth of 10% to a year-on-year growth of 5%. Previously, IDC had forecasted that IT spending in 2025 would be $4.1 trillion, with a year-on-year growth of 10%.
