The Good Economy Alliance, jointly initiated by leaders from different sectors in Hong Kong, was officially established on the 25th. The alliance is committed to promoting a "good economy" model centered on holistic well-being and sustainable values. The inauguration ceremony of the alliance was held at the Hong Kong Gugong Cultural Museum on the same day. The chairman of the alliance, Cao Weide, stated that the establishment of the Good Economy Alliance aims to utilize Chinese cultural wisdom and Hong Kong's advantages to create a better future. It is understood that the "good economy" breaks through the traditional framework of measuring economic outcomes by gross domestic product, emphasizing the deep connection between the economy and human well-being, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion, and promoting businesses to shift from "profit first" to "coexistence of values."
