Elon Musk retweeted a post about OpenAI, which reads: "OpenAI's 'human first' promise? Just a joke. Hundreds of researchers accepted pay cuts to work at OpenAI, persuaded by the company's mission, which legally shouldn't be profit-driven. What about that mission now? It is said that in a new restructuring, it is being quietly abandoned, and all the once sacred safeguards are being disregarded." It was reported that on February 10, local time, an investor consortium led by Musk proposed to acquire OpenAI for $97.4 billion. Musk's lawyer, Mark Tobirov, confirmed the news and said the acquisition offer had been submitted to the OpenAI Board of Directors. In response, Oltman stated on X platform, "No thanks, but if you are willing, we are willing to buy Twitter for $9.74 billion."
