The American toy company sued the US government for its tariff policy.
The tariff policy of the US government has brought tremendous pressure to many small and medium-sized businesses in the United States, and some of them have also resorted to legal action. According to a report by CBS on April 24, a US educational toy company called "Educational Resources" recently sued the US government, accusing the US government of unilaterally and significantly increasing tariffs without authorization from Congress, leading to a sharp increase in the cost of imported goods and almost complete stagnation of import business. Regarding the so-called "tariffs forcing manufacturing to return" by the Trump administration, the company stated that this is a unrealistic fantasy, as they have attempted domestic production multiple times over the past ten years, all of which ultimately failed.
