Sun Shaocheng, Secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Party Committee: We must closely focus on nurturing new productive forces in the fields of air economy, green hydrogen, nuclear energy, unmanned driving, and computing power.
From April 27th to 28th, the Economic Analysis Meeting of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was held in Hohhot. Sun Shaocheng, the Secretary of the Autonomous Region Party Committee, presided over and delivered a speech. Sun Shaocheng stated that the current economic development of the autonomous region is fundamentally sound, with stable foundations in agriculture, animal husbandry, and energy sectors. The industrial base and positive momentum remain unchanged, while external conditions are improving. The goals and tasks should remain unchanged. All levels should have confidence in development and fully understand that "not advancing is retreating, and advancing slowly is also retreating", in order to enhance the sense of urgency in accelerating economic construction. It is necessary to strengthen strengths, make up for weaknesses, and address bottlenecks. The advantage industry of new energy should be further developed and strengthened, with practical measures implemented to solve prominent issues in agriculture, animal husbandry, construction, finance, and other areas. More emphasis should be placed on relying on reform to address bottlenecks such as slow project approval, mismatch between supply and demand for green electricity, and lack of smooth communication between banks and enterprises. New frontiers should be explored, focusing on cultivating new productive forces in areas such as air economy, green hydrogen, nuclear energy, unmanned driving, and computing power. Every effort should be made to increase fiscal income and household income, continuously improving development benefits.
