On April 25th, the Intellectual Property Court of the Supreme People's Court held a public hearing in its second courtroom and publicly pronounced judgment on the dispute over infringement of plant new variety rights between Company Heng and Henan Company Jin. The collegial panel briefly explained the opinion of the judgment on the disputed focus of the case, and then announced the annulment of the original judgment, the lawful re-judgment that Jin Company should stop the infringement, compensate Heng Company for economic losses and reasonable expenses for safeguarding their rights totaling more than 53.547 million yuan, and clarified the specific way of assuming the responsibility for stopping the infringement and the payment of delayed performance fees.
