The Intellectual Property Court of the Supreme People's Court releases annual report.

The Supreme People's Court today released the "Annual Report of the Intellectual Property Court of the Supreme People's Court." The report shows that in 2024, the Intellectual Property Court of the Supreme People's Court received a total of 6,229 technology-related intellectual property and monopoly cases, concluded 4,213 cases, and had 2,016 cases pending, a decrease of 37.3% compared to the previous year. The average trial period for physical cases was shortened by about 11.5 days. Adhering to the principle of "making improvements without issuing rejections," only 2 cases were sent back for retrial, and the settlement rate of civil cases exceeded 40%.
