Establishment of Shenzhen Low Altitude Meteorological Service Center

date
26/04/2025
To improve the low-altitude flight meteorological service system and ensure the safety of low-altitude flights, the Shenzhen Low-altitude Meteorological Service Center was officially established on the 25th. The center is supported and guided by the Shenzhen Meteorological Bureau and the Office of the Leading Group for Low-altitude Economic Development in Shenzhen, and relies on the Shenzhen Low-altitude Flight Service Platform to provide meteorological forecast services and three-dimensional grid meteorological real-time services with time accuracy to the minute and spatial accuracy to the hundred meters for units or individuals conducting low-altitude flight activities in Shenzhen. At the scene, reporters saw the large screen of the Shenzhen Low-altitude Meteorological Service Center displaying real-time weather conditions at multiple low-altitude takeoff and landing points and flight route areas in Shenzhen, covering wind fields, visibility, precipitation, and other weather conditions at different altitude levels. In addition, the center can also provide meteorological forecast services for takeoff and landing points and flight route areas within a 500-meter range on the ground for the next 6 hours for operational enterprises and individuals, and provide warnings for weather conditions that may interfere with low-altitude flights.
