The humanoid robot has become the new favorite of the auto show, and the two major industry chains are intertwined.

At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, humanoid robots were everywhere. Products from Yushu Technology and Zhiyuan Robotics became "non-staff members" for many car companies and battery companies, acting as guides and "car models" on site; Xiaopeng Motors and Chery Group also brought their self-developed humanoid robots to the show, serving as "partners" for automotive products. Industry insiders analyzed that on the one hand, both production and sales ends of car companies have scenarios suitable for humanoid robots to be implemented, making them the "major customers" of humanoid robot manufacturers; on the other hand, the artificial intelligence technology required for automotive hardware manufacturing and intelligent driving highly overlaps with the software and hardware of humanoid robots, making it almost a "free pass" for car companies to develop humanoid robots.
