The Central Cyberspace Administration, along with ten other departments, issued the "Key Points of Work for Collaborative Transformation and Development towards Digitalization and Greenization by 2025".

The "Work Key Points" deploys 22 key tasks in four aspects. The first is to promote the green and low-carbon development of the digital industry, including promoting the greening transformation of data centers, promoting the greening operation of base stations, promoting green manufacturing and use of electronic information products, and guiding leading digital technology companies to achieve zero carbon development. The second is to accelerate the green transformation empowered by digital technology, including promoting the green transformation empowered by digital technology in eight areas such as electricity, mining, metallurgy, petrochemicals, transportation logistics, construction, urban operations, and modern agriculture, as well as promoting the empowerment of digital technology in ecological environment governance, and creating pilot demonstration projects for digital green transformation. The third is to leverage the driving role of green transformation on the digital industry, including upgrading digital green infrastructure, accelerating digital green integration and innovation, building a digital green industry system, and cultivating composite talents for digital green transformation. The fourth is to strengthen overall coordination and promote advancement, including strengthening organizational leadership, improving laws and policies, deepening international cooperation, and enhancing propaganda and guidance.
