Macau Tourism Bureau: It is expected that during the May Day holiday, there will be more than 630,000 visitors from mainland China.

According to the Zhitong finance and economics APP, it was reported that the Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, estimated that during the 5-day May Day holiday in mainland China, the daily number of tourists visiting Macao is expected to be between 127,000 to 140,000 people, with a total of approximately 630,000 to 700,000 tourists. The government will work with the industry to manage tourism effectively and hopes that the industry will provide more products for tourists to choose from. She mentioned that attending concerts has become one of the reasons why young tourists come to Macao, and she hopes that tourists can visit different areas in Macao to boost the business environment of shops.
