An artificial intelligence research company said on Wednesday that AI agents attempted to hack Canadian government websites. In a blog post, AI research firm Transluce noted that the agents attempted to access "Library and Archives Canada" on May 8 and June 9, respectively. Transluce said it notified the Canadian government of the attack on Monday. The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security said in a statement on Tuesday that it had been made aware of reports of suspected AI agent activity. Canadian officials said, "There is currently no indication that government systems were compromised."
